Grace Bible Study

Grace Bible Study is a ladies’ group for all ages and led by volunteers. They share stories and have a few laughs as they grow in God’s Word. The Advent Candlelight Tea, sponsored by the group and held in December, is open to all ladies of the church and the community and benefits a charity chosen by the group. Grace meets every other Thursday evening in September through May in the Family Life Center Conference Room.

Men’s Fellowship

The men’s fellowship at Zion gathers on the first Saturday of each month for the Men’s Bible Breakfast in the parish hall at 8:00am.  We have breakfast, bible study, and fellowship.  The men’s fellowship also sponsors several Fish and Tenderloin dinners throughout the year to raise money for the church and school and to donate to a local charity.  You will also find the men of Zion at church on Sunday evenings from 7-9pm playing basketball in the Family Life Center.

Missionary Society (LWML)

The Ladies of Zion Lutheran Church organized the Missionary Society 80 years ago in 1928.  The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 in the Needle Club room.  The motto of the Missionary Society is “Serve the Lord With Gladness.”  The Missionary Society serves Zion in many ways and plans, coordinates, and runs the annual Soup and Sandwich Day on the last Friday of September.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild Consists of Twelve regular workers and three substitute workers.  The Altar Guild keeps the linens in order and the communion ware ready and clean for use and cares for the worship area of Zion.  They organize the church spring cleaning and invite all to come and help and to learn more about the worship life and space of our church.

Zion Lutheran Choir

The Adult Choir at Zion works hard to provide quality and uplifting music throughout the year for our worship services, and special occasions.  The choir meets every week on Wednesday evenings from 7pm-8pm September – May.  All are welcome to join and lend their voices to the choir as we lift our voices in song and praise to God.

Wednesday Night Live

Is a new ministry at Zion on Wednesday nights from 6-7 for bible study and fellowship.  The Adults will meet in the parish hall and will be studying the book of Revelation.  The Youth from 6-12 grade will meet in the youth room and the children will meet in the Gym for study, recreation, and fellowship.

Sunday Adult Bible Study

On Sunday mornings at 9:15-10:15 the Adult Bible Study meets in the parish hall for study, coffee, and fellowship.   It is a very relaxed group where questions are welcomed and encouraged as we seek to know the Word of God and apply it to our lives.   In the coming year we will be studying different world religions and how we can be prepared to give them an answer to what we believe, teach, and confess as Bible Believing Christians.
